Andy is a Partner with Hudson Wealth, an Advisor run organization focused on serving individual clients, families and small business owners. He provides comprehensive financial planning and investment services. Along with partner Mark Wilcox he founded Hudson Wealth Management in 2013, a boutique firm with a focus on retirement income planning and estate planning; as well as investment planning. Andy spent more than two decades in corporate management before transitioning into the financial services industry more than twenty years ago. Andy rejects the cookie cutter approach to planning and focuses on creating strategies for each client’s unique situation.
The planning process entails a thorough fact-finding session to determine and prioritize the client’s short and long term goals. The resulting plan serves as a roadmap that can be revisited annually and tweaked to factor in the inevitable life changes that take place.
Andy’s combination of experience in the business world, knowledge from raising a family and extensive educational background serves as a valuable resource for his clients. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA and attended John Carroll to complete course work in preparation for the Certified Financial Planner™ exam. He has held this prestigious designation since 2004. To maintain his numerous licenses, including the CFP®, Andy stays abreast of industry trends through continuing education.
As an independent advisor Andy has access to virtually all financial products and services but is not beholden to anyone to favor one over another. He can truly present an objective recommendation that is in the client’s best interest.
Andy and his wife Cheryl have been married for over 40 years, have raised two children, Allison and Matt, and have two grandchildren. They have resided in Hudson since 1991 and belong to the Hudson United Methodist Church. Andy remains active in the community largely through the Kiwanis Club of Hudson where he is a two-time past-president and current member of the Board of Directors. Through Kiwanis Andy has been engaged with their youth baseball and basketball programs as well as chairing several committees.
